msn messenger > mobile via sms

i am using this wonderful service from msn that lets me receive details of who is online on my contact list and then message my contacts from my mobile via sms. my contacts can message me at any time direct to my mobile via sms.

i am with orange. i am trying to find out how much orange charge me if anything to use this service provided by msn messenger. i expect they charge me 10p to message msn on
80090133527 and nothing to receive messages. i need confirmation of this however.

ive rung orange and they didnt know anything abt the service or if it will cost me extra. anybody used or using this service and can confirm costs. if not for orange then can confirm costs for using on other network

see site below for full details of msn service

well found out eventually.....

The cost of sending and receiving text messages depends on the country where the user is located, according to a spokesman for Orange. The price in the UK is about 10p to send a message and 12p to receive one.

see article below for more details

Sound interesting! what if you have orange 'out there?' which is so many texts free, does the price still aply or are they free to? If so it might be well worth investing in!

I had this for a while and all I got was spam spam spam from my hotmail account. Needless to say I weren't impressed and stopped it.

try putting the spam guard on, were only those addresses in your contacts are allowed access! that way nothing except from those people get through! I have done it and thus far it has worked!
