You have to pay for both boxes. You won't get any info on hacking or chipping Ntl services here.

Re: newbie
^^^ what he said
an additional set top box is £15 per month and will carry the same package as your main box.

Re: newbie
 geztam to Cable Forum.
I may have got this wrong, but on this auspicious day, I wonder if your name implies you are posting in disguise.
I would tell you about chipped boxes and stuff, but then I think I might get in trouble with the team who are itching for an excuse to press the red button. So I wont. Just don't go there.
Two boxes is possible, but means two fees to ntl.

Re: newbie
Welcome to the site geztam.
As has been said, "Chipping" boxes is illegal. You do have to pay NTL a further £15 per month for each extra box. I certainly wouldn't phone NTL and say you are planning to do it.
While I, and the other members of the site, will be happy to help with most problems you might have, we cannot discuss anything like this.
