internet usage

I have installed Du meter so I can find out how much mb/gb I use .

and yesterday it comes out at 65mb .this was just browsing .forums ,ebay ect .

not downloading music ect ..ebay shows pictures so I suppose that will use a fair bit..my provider is going to change to a higher speed ,and a cap of 3gb usage per month, so it seems that might not be enough..

I have been off work this week so i am playing with it more ,

has anyone here got a cap limit ,and what sort of usage do you get from it .

thanks ...

Re: internet useage

Make sure your usage monitor is only registering download usage and not upload and all responses to the noise coming in from the internet/ UBS etc as it should be significantly lower than that for general browser usage

Re: internet useage

the Du meter does not seem to have any of those options .

mabee its coz i've got the trial version ..

the D/s light is always flashing on the cable modem so i assume that this is just internet noise ..but the meter picks it up .
