Yep - Chorlton been down for a couple of days - on and off.

I'd check the ntl status page but I can't get to their home page

Just bought and set up a wireless router 2 days ago and was beggining to think that this was the cause of the problem.

Re: Email down in Manchester / Baguley

Continuation of the problems that started yesterday, probably.

If you look at the status page http://www.ntl-isp.ntl.com/lookup/default.asp you will see that the top item, a general outage, which had been fixed yesterday, was updated at 17:30 today.

Re: Email down in Manchester / Baguley

isn't it starnge though that they do some maintenance on the e-mail system a day or 2 ago and then it goes tits up

Essential work on the ntlworld email storage servers between 01:00 and 05:00 on Tuesday the 22nd February will result in some customers being unable to check email for the duration of the work.

Any emails sent to your account during this time will be available to download shortly after the work has completed.

Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.

Re: Email down in Manchester / Baguley

Service just unacceptable.

Service outages, no mail, over charging, not billing, dodgy customer services and much more.

Guess who wont be using ntl anymore

Re: Email down in Manchester / Baguley

We currently have another email problem thread running from yesterday. Can we please use that one instead as this duplicate thread is now closing. Thanks.
