Cambridge caches out?

Hiya,

As of some point this afternoon (26/01/05), the caches in the cambridge
PoP seem to be non-respondant.

Is anybody else seeing this?

cache1-cmbg.server.ntli.net(62.253.128.4)
cache2-cmbg.server.ntli.net(62.253.128.5)
cache3-cmbg.server.ntli.net(62.253.128.6)
cache4-cmbg.server.ntli.net(62.253.128.7)

Since I'm in the waltham park CAM, I've decided to opt for the poplar
set, but they do not yield the same performance!

Thanks in advance for any info

Lochii.

Re: Cambridge caches out?

Oh, on second thoughts, it looks as if the entire PoP is out:

the problems in bishops stortford are nothing to do with proxies... it is because the network there is having some "issues". It is on the server status page

http://www.ntl-isp.ntl.com/ServiceStatus/

Broadband customers in the following areas may currently be experiencing a degraded service such as slow browsing or intermittent access to email. In some cases service may also be lost completely.

Our engineers are working to resolve the issues as soon as possible.
Areas affected: Bishop Stortford, Brighton, Leicester, Harrogate, Poole.
Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused.
