Huygens Descent On Titan
Well, the probe "lands" on Titan tomorrow - i wonder what they will find there as nobody seems to know, they dotn even know if it will land on a surface or in some goo.
Im betting on a B1 Bomber but you never know - it might just be where teletubbies live.
Anyhoo - joking aside - assuming it dosent all go wrong on the way down, which lets fact it is pretty probable, it should be pretty interesting dont you think?

Re: Huygens Descent On Titan
Good luck to the OU/ESA, lets just hope it doesn't got the same way as Beagle.
Some interesting stuff on their website, and some videos:

Edit - Oh and Russ, how can you not be impressed/inspired?

I wish I could take pictures like that, but then I haven't got a billion pound budget.

Re: Huygens Descent On Titan
What gets me is - the BBC interviewed one of the scientists who has been involved with Cassini-Huygens for 15 years. All that could be wasted in the next 12 hours I can't imagine the pressure that creates!
