Internet Usage Survey
In case you missed it NTL have an "Internet usage survey" requiring your attention, http://www.ntlworld.com/
Could this survey have any influence on future capping levels?
If so, should we say that we are on-line 24/7 connected to 10 different P2P's continuously or should we say that we logon once a month to check the date or should we tell the truth .
Which reply would give us the best chance of higher/no caps bearing in mind that NTL will want to upset as few punters as possible with any decision.
Please reply AFTER you have completed the survey.

Re: Internet Usage Survey
"Once a week" is a bit vague. I answered it honestly.
I was worried about the proposed (supposedly unconfirmed) 5gig a month cap, then someone showed me these pages which made me concerned for a moment but then I found this page which for an extra £12 a month gives you "Unlimited service - with no download limits on your Broadband usage" plus £15 call credit on your phone, so things aren't looking bleak as I thought them to be.

This is for 'freedom' packages for 'offnet' customers ie. BT landline ADSL users wanting NTL as thier ISP, not cable customers.

Which comes with a confirmed 5 gig "Usage Allowance" anyway.

I like the conditions at https://secure.ntlfreedom.com/htmlfiles/5gb.htm where they say that they may charge you for using over 5Gb a month at some point later in the year but don't say what that charge may be.
