Re: Red button for Sky sport/movie channels
yes one stupid red button is a reason to leave a company that can provide you with cheap phone, tv, and broadband, jeesh all you moans i wish you would get a grip and wise up to yourselves, realise that moanin and moanin about somethin wont get you it, realise your actin like babies and realise that ntl: is what it is, and is tryin to improve there have been major upgrades this year. not pickin on anyone inparticular just usin this as an oppertunity to say what alot of people think :@

Re: Red button for Sky sport/movie channels
If you are going to complain about spelling, make it putting a g on the end of the words that need it...but im not going to be that picky
As far as ive seen, red button interactivity hasnt made any difference to my life...certainly not enough to make me ditch ntl.

And I don't like to moan, but are the shift and apostrophe keys broken on your keyboard?
If you're going to be pedantic, at least get things right yourself!
And ntlrocks, next time ask for a keyboard with a 'g' on it...

Seen as that more channels/programmes are going the interactive way, you're going to be missing out on a lot of stuff.

But what interactive stuff is really worthwile? For me, multiscreen options for things like the olympics, wimbledon, euro2004 are really good. If a tele company cannot provide these, I'd consider switching. But, apart from multiscreen, I'm not that impressed with interactive content. But perhaps that's because I have NTL?

Well we can't really say anything about the interactive until we're the same as Sky and we're not. Unless you've seen Sky's current interactive service, you can't say it'll be bad.
Also, you don't have to use it anyway...

I'll admit to not having seen Sky's interactive, so I really don't know
But, if I'm not going to use it, I wouldn't be bothered by its absence.
I wasn't having a dig by the way, it's a genuine question. I really value the multiscreen option, but haven't seen any other worthwile interactive content (on NTL) yet. Choice of commentary is nice, but not important for me.

I also not having a dig with this, but what one person finds worthwhile, another doesn't, but we shouldn't get rid of it because someone doesn't like it...
I've not seen Sky only interactive either...

Nobody suggested getting rid of it. I think we're misunderstanding each other. Anyway, I think we may be taking this thread off topic. I'm considering starting a thread about what interactive content people find worthwhile.
