Are you sure that you are only clicking the link once?

Not wanting to push the point, but how old is your mouse?

You might try going to Control Panel/ Mouse/ Double Click Speed Test and single clicking on the Jack-in-the-Box a few times.

If it pops up unexpectedly it could be because the left-click on the mouse is becoming worn and sending two signals by mistake (I've had this happen before, you see!)

Re: Outlook URL opens 2 Browser Windows

Nah - its not that - it only happens with Outlook.

If it was the mouse i would notice it in no time opening files and stuff.

Re: Outlook URL opens 2 Browser Windows

Finally found the answer, its a problem in Firefox 0.9, you can download a reg tweak which fixes it here (http://johnhaller.com/jh/mozilla/firefox_bug_246078.asp) and an offical thread about it here (http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?p=580932)

What a pain in the ass that was.

Re: Outlook URL opens 2 Browser Windows

Is it worth an entry in there?

I presume you mean THE knowledgebase linked to above at the top of the page?

Unless there is a specific one for Firefox?
