Latest "Come Back!" Offer From Sky

Since I moved from Sky Digital to NTL in 2002, Sky have regularly sent me offers to tempt me back. The one I received today is tempting:

Sky+ stb £199
Free installation
Totally free Family Pack plus Sky World for six months

But . . . . . . . . . . . all I really want is a STB which is as fast as a Sky box and doesn't lock up frequently.

Oh, and interactive which actually works.

It's no different in any business is it Paul?

I rang Abbey (who I have my mortgage with), to enquire about a remortgage at a nice low rate I saw advertised, only to be told "That's only for new customers Sir".....

very true - new clients are seen as a 'key performance indicator' , service & retention of existing clients - it would seem not

sad to say but i know you are right , it seems as though they are only interested in gaining new buisness not looking after existing
