Cool VLC Media Player

Just downloaded this yesterday and im impressed with it. It can play nearly all audio/videp formats and the sound quality is very very good.

To download and get info visit: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

Re: VLC Media Player

I'd stick with Mediaplayer. You can get the latest updates of divx and Xvid from the net for that anyway for free

Re: VLC Media Player

been using this for quite while now (as backup media player)

its main strength is it will attempt to play even corrupted media files, when most other players will just refuse to even try. Can be useful at times.

It also contains its own codecs - which can be an advatage at times.

Re: VLC Media Player

I'm giving this a whirl now.

What does the post-processing do?

If you haven't noticed already and most people haven't. But it's the only player I have come accross so far that will play .bin files providing of course they have some playable content.
