Help needed with Cisco 800 series router...

I have been running a Cisco 806 with no problems for a few months but it has stopped working (I was doing some ntp stuff on the CLI but I don't this is related). I have consoled into the router OK and reset it and also re-copied the CRWS config file. I can then use CRWS to access the router OK and I can make system changes but as soon as I save to the startup config and reload the router none of the changes are remembered. Then the router just sits there with some lights on the front and I have to console in again. Does this mean that there's a problem with the memory? Is it a hardware failure of some sort? Any help/tips would be really gratefully received as it's driving me nuts!

Thank you

Mike
