Should be charged as normal weekday's, I know BT charge normal weekday call charges on bank holiday's, NTL are probably the same.

Do BT do this now ?
It's a change in policy since I worked for them if they do. When I used to work on Exchange Mtce we used to have to program the Bank Holidays into the metering system each year so that people were charged at the weekend (off peak) rate.

As far as I know BT have always treated bank holidays as weekends when charging.

Must have changed. It says on BT's site that normal charges apply on bank holidays!

Ah now, I think it was when we had cabletel I complained about being charged weekday rates on a bank holiday monday .. the woman just said "It's monday, not saturday or sunday" and put the phone down. Sorry, I was sure it was BT.

When I had one2one (back in the days  ) on the weekend plan bank holidays were treated as weekend, but these days they try to get their money out of you and treat them as weekdays

Both BT and ntl charge as a normal weekday and that INCLUDES Christmas. Therefore, you will pay 3p/min during the day on Christmas Day/Boxing Day/NY Day if you make a call between 8am and 6pm, just like you do on bank holidays as you would on any normal weekday.
