Setting up a new email account?

Hello,

Is it possible to create a new ntl email account whilst not on an ntl network connectio? I tried doing this the other day, but had all kinds of problems - I thought it might have been becuase I wasn't on ntl at the time!

Can somebody remind me of the correct url for configuring email accounts?

Thanks!

Lee

Re: Setting up a new email account?

Afaik that is the correct site - linked from NTLWorld page - and I'm fairly sure I have added an email account from my work internet connection before now. At the moment I am getting the same error (from work). Could be an NTL server problem :yikes:

Re: Setting up a new email account?

You should be able to do it by going into your webmail account by logging in here. It will then let you add extra mail addresses:

Re: Setting up a new email account?

it appears not...

i tried it from my ntl account and i got into the admin panel

i then tried it on my adsl account and got the same message

however i am sure that i had someone on an aol connection do it ok last week
perhaps this is a recent change

Re: Setting up a new email account?

IIRC you cannot do this unless you are on an NTL connection.

This is probably as a security feature, to stop people changing your account from another connection.

Just to close this one - I connected to the autoreg link (above) at home last night without any problems, and could configure whatever I wanted. Think it must be a security feature!

Re: Setting up a new email account?

It's been the same for yonks now.

perhaps using a dialup via an ntl payg account would suffice to do this.
