Deontay Wilder vs Tyson Fury
Sorry a very poor decision IMO as that fight was never a draw as Fury won that by at least 4 rounds.

Indeed you have to wonder what planet two of the judges were on when the points tally of the judges was announced.

And he was the one that made it a draw overall.
Quote:
Mexican judge Alejandro Rochin scored the fight 115-111 to Wilder, Canada's Robert Tapper had it 114-112 to Fury and the third judge, Britain's Phil Edwards, had it 113-113.

Re: Deontay Wilder vs Tyson Fury
Indeed but it was never a draw as even though Fury went down twice that does not win a boxer a fight or the draw as was announced by the announcer.

Re: Deontay Wilder vs Tyson Fury
A draw, how convenient and profitable for all involved with a 'rematch'. Boxing is getting like WWF wrestling, a scripted outcome for maximum profit. Not a sport any longer.

Indeed very convenient when there is another huge payday on the horizon.

Re: Deontay Wilder vs Tyson Fury
Just biased judging. It was to be expected. Haven't really got much to add other than a rematch will end with Wilder putting his lights out. That's the best fury we'll see and he lacks power. He isn't going to get away with dancing around forever, he very nearly didn't get away with it this time. I'm tired of hearing about him getting a decision over Klitschko and him reigning down the sourness on Joshua. The guy is so blatantly jealous it's near unbearable now. Furys best win is still Klitschko, a guy Joshua retired and brutally stopped. Parker, Takam, Povetkin. All bigger names than anyone else on the Fury list. Same applies to Wilder too.
Joshua knocks out Fury. Joshua knocks out Wilder. Wilder knocks out Fury. That's how I've got it.
Fury has boxing talent but he's just always there waiting to be knocked out by a prime heavyweight. Dancing about at heavyweight throwing jabs will only serve you well for so long and as above it was so very close to undoing him against Wilder. Wilder will go out for blood in a rematch. He's seen Tyson at his best but Wilder is capable of a bit more earlier on this time around.

Re: Deontay Wilder vs Tyson Fury
I didn't watch this fight and I won't be watching the money-spinning rematch. There's only one Tyson (Iron Mike) and Rio Ferdinand (for the sheer cheek of trying to become a pro-boxer) is wilder than Wilder.
AJ seems a nice bloke but he needs to bring more to the ring. Perhaps a fight with Idris Elba or Taylor Swift will sex things up a bit.

Yes l certainly remember Iron Mike Tyson a fearsome boxer in the ring but a convicted rapist out of the ring.
