Re: RIP David Bellamy
He's been off TV so long that our kids have no idea who he was. And they are nearly 30 years old. Trying to explain what he was like is impossible.

Re: RIP David Bellamy
This clip is not great but this is David Bellamy in his element.
He also wrote quite a few books as well.

Re: RIP David Bellamy
A really great man who I had the honour and pleasure of meeting. So enthusiastic and totally commited to conversation in all it's forms. He will be greatly missed by his many friends.
RIP David

Re: RIP David Bellamy
I did his owl prowl and am ashamed to say was so enthusiastic my figures were creative to say the least, every unknown noise at night was marked down as an owl, to such an extent if anyone important had read it the owls would have been in real danger of being taken of the protected species list. It's quite remarkable to the number of natural wildlife centres I've visited over the years that he was in some way associated with, a good man who lived a productive, long life, if I can say the same when my time is up I'll count myself blessed.
