You can just remove it as long as its not the disk you run windows from and you haven't done anything silly like install all your program files on there or changed the default location of your swap/page file.
Shutdown your PC physically remove the disk (make sure you get the right one) and then reboot, if you get any problems, stick it back in then come here again for more help
