Samsung STB
If I were to buy a samsung STB off ebay, how would I go about pairing my card with it?

Re: Samsung STB
If you ignore all the legal problems you still face the technical impossibility that cards can only be paired with one STB (i.e. you cannot pair your card with it).

Re: Samsung STB
As stated above: You can't. NTL are the only ones who can do the pairing, and they won't pair any cards with boxes not rented from them.

Re: Samsung STB
OK, if I have the box with paired card, how do I get my subscribed channels transfered to the new card/box?

Re: Samsung STB
You can't, NTL owns the box full stop. The person you are buying it from is not authorised to sell it as it doesn't belong to them and NTL won't transfer your service to the new box because it is effectively stolen property. Leave well alone.

Again, NTL have to do it, and they only do things like that with boxes you rent from them.
