Middlesbrough problems ?
Hi,
I have been struggling all night to get on the net. I'm now using dial-up Freeserve to view this site.
Anyone else in the TEESSIDE area having problems ? I'm rapidly losing patience with NTL, this has now been on and off for several weeks.
I have checked my router, connected directly to the modem (surfboard 4100), and still nothing. All lights are on as they should be.
Anyone know if ADSL is available in Teesside ?
Its a sad day for me, I have been with NTL's broadband service for nearly three years, and its the first time I have seriously considered ADSL

Do you have broadband service right now ? I have had my cm and router off for the last half hour, and when powered back on, my router is not receiving a dhcp ip address.
I guess I'll try it again in the morning.

Finally someone else in the area having problems and i thought i was the only one on here.
Yes BB service is back but its been getting worse each night this week web pages timing out then just loss of service a couple of nights ago a friend who lives locally called swansea and a csr simply told her (after waiting upto an hour in the queue) "we have no reported problems in your area" he might as well have said its all in your imagination.
Its really annoying when your playing MGP2 and your on the last lap and just coming out of the last corner and the NTL BB connection drops ***#*!! ?***/*#<--- words have been masked incase children are reading.
Its back up now until maybe tonight everything will take a nose dive and there is no reports on the NTL servis status page that we do have a problem in the area.

Hello,
I'm in Stockton and I've used the service from 9am-5pm, then 8pm till about 2am everyday for the last week or so. I've had no problems with quality of service, only an issue with a proxy server not resolving correctly.
Kind regards,
Cyrill666
