Value packs pricing help

Hi,

I've currently got one of the value packs
4MB Broadband
Base package TV
Talk unlimited local

for £39.99

I'm finding the NTL site hard to navigate and tell me the prices if I changed my package. Before I spent time getting through to NTL, would anyone be able to tell me the cost of

4MB Broadband
Family Pack TV
Phone.

I rarely use the phone and really just need the lowest possible phone tariff. Is this talk weekends? I think I'm maybe on a too higher phone tarrif, but again not too sure. I'm also concerned of changing my package incase they get it wrong and ruin my billing (from experience I tend not to change NTL packages as this leads to all sorts of billing problems).

Many thanks for any replies.

Mike.

Re: Value packs pricing help

If it's any help, the price of the phone line is included in the charge of the Family pack.

That's interesting. Thanks.

The NTL site say the £19.50 is excluise of the £11.00 line rental. You can see the confusion, yes?

Re: Value packs pricing help

4MB Broadband - £24.99
Family Pack TV - £19.50
Phone - £11.00

Total - £55.49

However, you can upgrade to the Family pack for only £8 extra on top of your value pack (i.e. £47.99) which would be less.

There is a value pack:
Talk Unlimited, 4Mb Broadband & Family Pack TV
£49.99 a month

It does have 'talk unlimited' but if you ring and ask to downgrade the phone pack you might get a reduction!

There was a press release http://www.ntl.com/mediacentre/press/display.asp?id=850 stating that the new offers will be out by 1 Sept 06.
