Re: digital connection

Hi. to the site.

Not sure of the right answer to your question, but there are people on the site who should be able to help.

I would like to warn you though that if you make any alterations to your cable connection like this, bear in mind that if you have any problems in the future, and the engineer discovers you have made any alterations to how the cable is hooked up, then you will be charged for the repair, wether your alterations caused the fault or not.

Re: digital connection

thanks for your reply. i know if i alter anything i will be liable for it , but what i intended to do was run a seperate cable leaving the original aside so if any thing did go wrong it was just a case of connecting up the original.mmmmmm what you think..

What are you trying to do here? Use the broadband cable feed into the bedroom to get digital cable TV? In this case I'm pretty sure you'll need another set top box which (AFAIK) the engineer should have installed along with splitting the feed in the right way (and no, I don't know what the right way is).
