Changing channels from another room

I have TV Drive piped into another room via a RF lead. I previously had Sky Digital piped into another room and could change channels remotely by using the antiference device found here: http://www.satcure.co.uk/accs/page3.htm#antif

Unfortunately this device does not seem to work with TV Drive!

Can anybody suggest a cheap device that will? (I'm hoping to spend less than £10)

For ten quid no - perhaps a small child and a long pointed sharp stick !

I have got a Marmitek Powermid system - I think the setup cot £24.99 from this link :www.keene.co.uk/cgi-bin/codesearch.pl?PMID

It works very well for me.

Hope it helps

Re: Changing channels from another room

Apparently TVDrive uses IR and not IRDA (see http://www.cableforum.co.uk/board/sh...=39753&page=11) which means I should be able to use the aniterence device to change channels!

Can't understand why I can't get it to work!

Re: Changing channels from another room

I have my connection through a coaxial upstairs as my main set hs the digital on it,anyway I manage to get a crystal clear picture sound and can turn it over to.With a spare sky origional remote control.
What I did was purchased a AV Video Sender set which also had a infa red extender with it and it works a charm.I have done a guide on what and where I purchased all my bits for connecting to another television on Ebay its free its in the Guides and Reviews part for all to read. Its on page 2 of cable and connections and is simply titled How To Add Sky Digital To Another Room Or Bedroom. This should hopfully help with your problem . Good Luck Best Regards Jackie
