Question regarding ADSL/NON Bt phone line.

Ok, so i'm currently with Bulldog, and want to switch sometime in the future to other offerings like Eclipse or Carphonewarehouse

Herein lies the problem

Both sites use a phone line checker, as opposed to a postal code checker to see if broadband is available, so you can't order their services because the phoneline we have, is cable and wireless (bulldog's)

Anyone know what I should/could do?
I assume i'd have to cancel bulldog, order a BT line, then order broadband?

Re: Question regarding ADSL/NON Bt phone line.

If I was you, I'd use a neighbour's phone number with your post code. That's what I did when I was contemplating switching to ADSL when I still had an NTL phone line. The BT site didn't recognise my number, but I knew my neighbour used BT, and figured that the few feet between our houses wasn't gonna make much difference.

If you can get Bulldog you can get CPW, Eclipse et al.

Bulldog didn't unbundle exchanges where DSL wasn't offered through BT..
