It would be so good if it was true!

But it does definitely sound like it's too good to be true, though

Hmm. True. Bungie would be v busy with Halo2, but they could concentrate on working on that, while Valve (who did the PC version - which is online) could maybe work on "upgrading" the XBox Halo1.

An online Halo1 would be a massive seller & would probably kill-off XBC. They could release an online & multiplayer only budget version, & I'm sure loads of people would buy it if they did. And it wouldn't impact negatively on Halo2 sales, as that's not out for 6 months or so.

Still sounds too good to be true though

It would be good if it happened, but I wouldn't expect it to happen, there have been rumours since live beta about a remake or addon to Halo, making it live.

Maybe the surprise is that they could have made a live addon all this time and they have and it will be the first one they charge you for downloading. Or maybe its aother rumour blown out of proportion by halo fans who are too impatient to wait for Halo 2

You can already play Halo online via the link tunneling services, such as xlink messenger or xbconnect.

Plenty of lag too from my experience!

Think I'd sooner go out and buy the PC version and pray that it actually works on my PC.

Exactly id much rather buy the pc version - but i dont need to pray anymore!

Apparently you haven't heard some of the complaints about how much a hog this port has become on the PC. Some ppl have had trouble on very high-end PCs.

Well i have heard about stuff like that but i think mine should take it most people around my spec seem to have managed it that i know of, but I still havent tried it yet!

I had problems but nothing an updated driver didn't fix !
