pace2000

I am currently with telewest but have just found an old ntl pace2000 stb which my sister brought home couple of years ago, I know Telewest put a street value of £50 for smartcard and £200 for a stb, if I rang up NTL to return it do you think they would give me some cash?

Do you know if it can be used to recieve the freeview channels, through my current cable connection if i wantedto add it to another room or a room previously connected?

Re: pace2000

The STB will be next to useless to you. Certainly you won't be able to connect it to anything. You can phone ntl though and they may arrange to collect it, but I'd be surpised if they want to pay you for the priviledge since it always remained their property.

Re: pace2000

Completely useless, in fact - from my understanding, the ntl boxes won't even boot on the Telewest network, and vice versa.
