Samsung STB & VideoSender

I have one of the newer silver Samsung STB's. Unfortunately unlike the old Pace STB which worked fine with the VideoSender's I had, the Samsung's do not. The problem is that the channel on the STB will change of its own accord. Disconnecting the "sender" resolves the issue. Thus I need to know if anyone has a video sender unit working with a Samsung STB.
Thanks in advance.

Are you sure the problem is not this one:

Red face Re: Samsung STB & VideoSender

Thanks Altis. I did read that thread before posting but due to the fact the STB works fine without anything NTL does not approve I feel strongly the issue is with the compatability of the Samsung and the video sender I have.

Thanks for your interest.

Re: Samsung STB & VideoSender

You won't need one of these but there is lots of relevant info on this site:

See if any makes sense.

Re: Samsung STB & VideoSender

The samsung uses standard RC5 remote signals so should in principle work with any sender.
