Broadband test site ??

Can anyone tell me the name of a "test " site that is d/l by the TW installers when they fit your Broadband.. I had it on my desktop but have since formatted my PC and cant remember it.. It was a great site which gave you all sorts of info about your connection speeds , modem etc..

Thanks
Mick

Re: Broadband test site ??

web based or java based sped tests dont work.
I'm on 10mb and the speed tests come up with sily results like 2.4mbps and sometimes like 4.2mbps.

The only speed test where i get anything near 1280kbps is http://broadbandspeedtest.net

also when downloading from uk servers i get about 1.00mbps

Re: Broadband test site ??

www.vantage.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk is Dan Elwells, although it needs updating to cope with the new speeds

But I just use www.auditmypc.com/internet-speed-test.asp
