lol
I am bein serious I am looking for something which is comfortable but top end, with a good quality mouse which can offer excellent accuracy on gaming, and a keyboard which is as flat as possible with quality buttons laptop style keys.
Just something which the hardcore gamers here think is the best.

I've had my keyboard batteries run out on me once. Other than that - I've had no problems with my wireless mouse while gaming.
Still i'm not very good - so that may be why

Wireless, regardless of the quality/price will ALWAYS introduce lag from hand to actual movement in game, it may only be a miniscule amount but it's easily enough to get you killed. Corded is the only way to go.

Re: Ultimate mouse/keyboard for gaming on fps
Personally, I've found the Logitech MX1000 to be without any perceptable lag whatsoever. It's my favourite mouse by far, and I'm not just a casual gamer. I've played CS and Q3 at league and tournament level, so any lag that had a bearing on performance would have been a big issue for me. (Logitech are bringing out a new range in fact, which should be even more impressive)
Unless you have an HTPC setup where you need the keyboard miles from the base unit, there is no logical reason to go wireless for that.
The benefit to wireless is no cord snagging, which I found really irratating. Now that I've had wireless for a fairly long time, I wouldn't go back.
A little snippet from thefiringsquad.com (home of the legendary Thresh, arguably one of the best pro gamers)

A mouse review on a gaming site wouldn't be complete without inserting our findings when playing an FPS game. Up for the job, is our very-well-played copy of Call of Duty; multiplayer, of course. This reviewer focuses most of his online gaming hours playing CoD deathmatch. With the MX1000 was his weapon, it didn't disappoint. For readers who have stayed away from cordless mice because of their 'lag' to respond to your mouse movements, especially in FPS games, let us put that issue to rest: there is no lag (or was it, that there is no spoon?). Playing at least 10 hours of multiplayer CoD with the handle 'Fritz Burger' always yielded a first or second position on the kill list, at least on the maps that this reviewer likes and is familiar with.

Re: Ultimate mouse/keyboard for gaming on fps
Keyboard 'performance'? Well there isn't much to any, you just want to find one with a nice touch feel then you are off.
Your mousing surface should come second in importance to your mouse, I've got an everglide gigantica. Its great, but to be the best (best to me) I have to Mr. Sheen it up' (that was a trade secret ).
Its worth looking into a good mat and teflon strips/mouse feet for the bottom of your mouse, some good mats being the func 1030, steelpad, icemat, some of the everglide models.
