				Netgear Email

I'm wondering if anyone else on here with a Netgear router has received an email from them telling them there's a firmware update available when there's actually not?
 Whats going on?

After reading part of the link maybe it is legit, but i would advise to check on their site if you're unsure.

Does the NetGear routers web interface not tell you that there is an update?
My Asus interface told me that a update was pending.

They send out a monthly email with update notifications - but it seems it is not model specific.

Thats weird they should do it by model as its confusing when u try and update and there is no update.
