V+ : BBC3 online not available on Virgin Media.

I've just read on the BBC website that BBC3 online content will not be available on non TiVo boxes.

I'm not sure if they mean via the VM Catch Up TV service, or the iPlayer version on VM; does anybody know?

I don't buy their spin on it, as the same could be said about supplying BBC3 content to the TiVo too.

Virgin HD boxes give you on-demand access to a selection of BBC programmes from the past seven days. Since BBC Three is now online-only, its programmes won’t be available on demand via Virgin HD.

I think that reply is pretty clear.
BBC3 is on-line only. Non-TiVo boxes are not internet connected and so will not get BBC3 programmes on the 'old' iPlayer until the broadcast versions are shown as BBC have stated that all new shows from BBC3 will be reshown on a linear BBC channel.

The TiVo picks up BBC3 shows just fine.
