Re: is my power settings ok?
They look too low to me, but I'm sure someone more knowledgeable will confirm with facts and figures
Cheers

Re: is my power settings ok?
Not an expert but the downstream seems a little low.
What i am interested in though is you have 4 upstreams!!!

Quite a few people have now, it is the way forward and I am sure we'll end up on 4 by Easter.
Snoopz is right about your power levels, have you got an attenuator on the back of your shub? If not you need to make a call to tech support and get them to send someone out and move your tap point in the street cabinet. It will also increase your upstream power as well. Surprisingly the ming mongs in India have got quite good at picking this stuff up so you shouldn't have a problem.

Re: is my power settings ok?
You have a low downstream and a lowish upstream, you either have a forward path attenuator or a really long line

Moving to a less attenuated tap port will increase downstream and decrease upstream...

Re: is my power settings ok?
I thought 33 was the lower limit on upstream before errors occurred?

Re: is my power settings ok?
I couldn't find a 10 but this 15 will have the same affect as the 10. -2 on the downstream is absolutely fine and mine is like that all the time

(buy it)

Re: is my power settings ok?
Hmmm, another instance where me and Kush are going to hace to agree to disagree. By all means ring tech support and have fun trying to explain it to India. If they turn around and say it is going to be the end of the week or next week before someone comes out then i would rather splash out a few £££ and get it fixed sooner. My connection means too much to me for it to be pants for a week.

I'm going to join Mr Kushan. No-one should be touching the coax behind the Superhub. That is not your property, it's Virgin's much as the Superhub is. An attenuator may cover up the issue however a different tap port should be used if at all possible and the attenuator removed. This will improve upstream SNR for that modem.
