Are these available on VM?

Hi, if I list what I currently have recorded or set to record on my sky box can you please tell me if they are available as either box set or on VM?

1) Master of sex series 2? (from More4)
2) The Leftovers (Atlantic)*
3) Legends (Sky2)*
4) Forever (Sky1)*
5) Olive Kitteridge (Atlantic)
6) Falcon (Atlantic)*
7) The Knick (Atlantic)
8) Extant (syfy)
9) Utopia sereis 1 & 2 (Ch4)

These are the main bits I have recorded and want to keep so need to know what to prioritize viewing of before the switchover, I understand VM does not have Atlantic? but am wondering if any of them filtered through to you?

I am most concerned with the ones marked *

Cheers,
Zoom.

p.s. is there a way of telling exactly what speeds are available at my post code?

You can forget about anything Atlantic wise on Virgin. As for the others, not sure. Speeds, I don't think you will get an exact answer, but there are plenty of broadband comparison sites that will let you know what speed you can get up to.

http://www.rightmove.co.uk/broadband...n-my-area.html did a good search for me.

Re: Are these available on VM?

Broadband speeds depend where you are in the country.

If in a town or city you could get 152Mb, but out in the sticks you would get it via telephone and it could drop below 8Mb

Re: Are these available on VM?

Does it matter what the distance to the cabinet is? (esp with 150mb)

I have just walked the dog up & down the road looking, the nearest on my road is 300 metres+ and on the other side of the road, or 100m but up a side road (will they turn a corner with the cable when fitting?)

I looked for an online listing of whats available for on demand & collections (sky box sets) and the Vm collections are IMO pretty lame.
Looks like I have to download a load of shows that I will not be able to watch in time.

I'd guess the 100m one feeds your house. It's very common for the cabinet to be on a different street.
