Question Blueyonder with Outlook 2007

We have 2 Blueyonder email a/c on Outlook 2007, with Windows 7.

All emails are going into 1 email a/c tech support in India had remote access but didn't have a clue how to separate both a/c in the end he told me I have to accept the a/c can't be separated

Is it possible to separate the 2 a/c, if so, any step by step instructions?

Re: Blueyonder with Outlook 2007

It depends what you mean by two emails - Blueyonder addresses worked slightly differently to others. You could have to two email addresses (aliases) on one mailbox, rather than each email address having it's own inbox.

You'd need to check in Manage Accounts in My Virgin Media how the two are set up. If it's a combined inbox, there is no way to separate them, if they aren't then there will be. But need to sort out the first bit first!

Hi Matthew

No, Ben means from the virginmedia website log into:

My Virginmedia - My Profile - Manage Accounts

Is one of your blueyonder addresses set up under a different account? If it is then the details under 'Username' will show one of your email addresses and above it you should see:

'You can create up to 9 additional My Virgin Media accounts for yourself or members of your household to use. You have 1 additional account'

Unsure what you are asking but if you want email from two different email addresses to go into different folders, you can do this in Outlook using rules

Re: Blueyonder with Outlook 2007

Ah right, you need to go to control panel and then mail and add a profile and then you would tell if to prompt for the profile when you launch outlook.

You will need to add the relevant account into the new profile you setup and delete it from the old one.
