Odd internet behaviour

Hello folks,

I've been having a wierd issue two weekends in a row up to now, perdiocially at 7mins past the hour my internet connection drops then comes back on 30secs later, it did this last weekend and now its doing it this weekend again.

The Superhub isn't showing any Timeouts from T1-T4 and the network log and device status do not actually show any drop in connection.

Has anyone heard of this issue or experienced it, google isn't proving to be very helpful and I'm holding off ringing VM since all accounts seem to point towards it not being a issue with them.

I'd appreciate any insight or areas to target.

Re: Odd internet behaviour

Are you using 5Ghz network?

I noticed my wireless adapter n-6235 seems to get confused on what band to use even if its a 5Ghz network. Forcing it to use 5Ghz instead of automatic seems to have sorted that out.

Re: Odd internet behaviour

I'm not using wireless, but a wired connection to my computer and it was doing this. I've done a factory reset on the superhub to see if it continues to happen, it hasn't since I've done that so who knows what was causing it.

Very strange, see if it happens next Sat aswell. Was quite odd the Superhub network logs and the usual count for T1-T4 displayed nothing about it and the rest of it seemed to be the usual.

Re: Odd internet behaviour

If you have the SH1 I would recommend to get your own router as the Superhub is fine as a modem but severely lacking as a router and it could be that its not the actual connection that drops but the routing part.
