It'll be great to watch the Old Grey Whistle Test at 4:3 upscaled to HD

I would suggest that children know an awful lot about these improvements in technology....

Re: BBC to Launch 5 New HD Channels

Geeez the anti-childrens mob have landed. Theres loads of sports channels showing football in HD and I think football is a load of crap. The media is here to cater for everyone. I pay my dues to the BBC and I want the childrens channels in HD, god knows they are always on our TV and if they are I don't want them in blurr vision.

yeah right toddles really give a crap about that don't they? Older kids will be bothered about HD gaming but they spend most their time while watching TV with their minds on the next social media post or their boy/girlfriends than the quality of the tv broadcast.

Trust me only geeks and nerds truly care Joe Bloggs thinks oh that's nice wifey where's my dinner

On top of that I am one of the biggest geeks you are likely to meet and I aint that bothered my tv however is top range and upscales so well anyway ....

not anti children's mob at all talk about over reaction. I just think with the experience I have as a parent of a daughter who is now almost an adult who has been exposed to a hell of a lot of tech but still is not bothered about if a channel is HD or not

I would rather they spent the money on better content myself

What content would you prefer the money to be spent on? The same could be said for the majority of adults they couldn't care less about HD.
