BT Infinity

I now have a confirmed meeting this coming weekend with BT's support staff and other forum members.

We will be asking questions to assist in the support we give both on their forum, here and elsewhere.

Here's your opportunity to have your questions/doubts raised on your behalf.

Any posts that I can answer before I will and any genuine questions will be raised and reported back.

This is not so much as a bonus for me (yes I will learn more) but for the users here and on other fora/forums and not only assist us to help you but also let an ISP know what their customer base requires of them .

P.S. No I'm not a BT fanboy!

Re: BT Infinity

Yeah, you could ask them how come there's a green cabinet at the end of my road that says Fibre Broadband is available but I can't place an order for it.....

Re: BT Infinity

I would imagine your line is not connected to that cabinet. You may be on an exchange line which sucks as Infinity won't be available for them. You may be connected to another cab around the corner, all sucks but you can find out if you have a BT line.

OR

You can contact Openreach direct and ask. nga.enquries@openreach.co.uk

Re: BT Infinity

Why is it completely impossible to move the direct debit date on your account (don't even mention the evil that is the monthly payment plan!)

Re: BT Infinity

I know it is not strictly BT, but why can we not have unlocked Openreach modems?
It would be nice to 'officially' get line stats etc. without having to resort to hacking. Not that I ever would you understand.
