To me it seems very expensive for what you get.. just a bunch of +1 channels, Foreign language channels and HD variants.. L TV has most of the channels anyway in standard version.

The only thing I think would make it worth it is the on demand content is amazing.

The HD is a plus, ESPN (well for now), more kids stuff as that's a main reason we have it.

Not forgetting Music on Demand, more TV on demand. There are a lot of extra channels. Always room for improvement but am happy with it.

Re: Is TV XL worth it?

Fantastic value for money in my opinion. A great selection of kids channels including Disney, Nick Jr & Cartoon network. These keep my 3 entertained and they are aged 10, 6 and 4. My wife has plenty of entertainment and music channels. I'm completely satisfied with the growing selection of HD channels, which now includes itv 2, itv3 and itv4.

We don't do a lot of on demand as we have a TiVo in the front room but it does come in handy in our bed room when we some times catch up with the soaps later in the evening.
