recordings on sky+ box
im moving to VM shortly from sky (3 years to get the dig done but new build eventually came through!)
my question is, will i still be able to watch my recordings from the hard drive on my sky box once my sky subscription lapses.
i remember when i canx my sky movies subscription all my recorded sky movies became unavailable, and i know its the same now on VM,but are general recordings (eg: ITV,BBC etc,..) affected the same as subscription channels?
thanks in advance for your answers.

Re: recordings on sky+ box
I'm pretty sure you wouldn't be able to view any of your recordings , once you cancel you lose all the Sky+ functionality.

You could plug the sky box into a dvd recorder and press play on the records and record on recorder. the recording has to be playing on the box while your recording it. I dont think you can record Sky Movies or Sports AFAIK

Re: recordings on sky+ box
You can back up the contents of the Sky box (in SD) to a DVD recorder in real time. If you want HD backup it is expensive.
