Sky + help

This has probably been asked before, i am not sure. But i have been given a sky + box and have today installed a dish and have got the box working. However i do no have a sky subscription and the phoneline and internet are BT. How can i get more than the freeview channels, as in Skysports new etc. I think i need a card? What are my options.

Help appreciated.

Re: Sky + help

Call SKY, explain you have a box and would like to subscribe to their services. They will arrange for someone to come out and install the box for you (if it needs it), provide a card to go into the box, etc and you will be off. At least, this is what happened with my mum a few years ago.

Re: Sky + help

To get Skysports news you will need to subscribe to a Sky entertainment package.

There are only two choices now - Sky Sports News is in Entertainment Extra
