So has the V+ made a return?
I have had an offer through the post which says that if I return to VM I can get a Tivo plus a free V+HD.
I thought V+ was gone forever for new customers?
The offer is called 'Sky Switcher Offer' btw

Re: So has the V+ made a return?
The offer will include the V HD box as that is the only other box on offer as per this LINK

Re: So has the V+ made a return?
The offer I have specifically states the V+HD as a second recordable box

Re: So has the V+ made a return?
I was a bit surprised too when my MIL has had the same through her door in North Sheffield. The blurb was referring to the new 'collections' deals with a text referring to, and a picture of, the (Samsung) V+ being supplied along with the TIVO (r).
Is it a marketing ....-up or is the V+ along with the Liberate firmware being retained?

Re: So has the V+ made a return?
I'm told that they've currently run out of the 500 gb TiVo, which has been the reason behind the recent free upgrade to 1 tb TiVo offer for new customers. I don't know if that's true, but it's a reasonably good source and might explain this latest development.

Re: So has the V+ made a return?
Funny I had a feeling you were going to say that! Do they have to ensure a surplus for swap outs?

Sorry, I meant do they need a surplus of TiVos for swap outs-ie. might it be the that they don't have enough TiVos for new customers and upgrades because what they do have has to remain available for swap outs?
