Drops Off!!

This so my daughter now tells me has always been an issue but with me only recently buying a lappy I never noticed it.

We use an Airstaion Buffalo WHR-G300N router which works great 100% of the time over LAN, but the WLAN drops off every 6hrs or so, then we have to reboot the router for another 6hrs worth?

I have had a shuffty in the settings and I assume I am looking for some kind of timer countdown thing, no idea..

Re: Drops Off!!

l might be wrong over this but l had problems with the wireless on my laptop so l bought a dual band wireless network adapter and that has improved it a lot but check the forum in a couple of hours and you might get better advice from someone with more knowledge.

Re: Drops Off!!

have you had the router for less than 2 years and have proof of purchase? if so contact Buffalo support for a replacement or refund...

http://www.buffalo-technology.com/support/warranty/

if you've had the router for less than 2 years and its causing nothing but hassle for you then request a refund and buy TP-Links new router > http://www.tp-link.com/uk/products/d...el=TL-WR2543ND

tp link say it will become available to buy by the end of this month.
