What is your favourite thing about Tivo
What is your favourite thing about Tivo since you have had it and what would you like to be added in future.
The things that l like the most are the three tuners, the far better EPG and the apps plus obviously the bigger hard drive comes in handy as well.

You should have added "constant need for the PIN number keeps the little ones safe"

I like the search feature, saves much epg trawling when setting future recordings or SPs.

Re: What is your favourite thing about Tivo
I bought it for the 1Tb hard drive above all else, and I'm not dissapointed.
Having to enter your pin so often is annoting - but at least I remember it.
I did try to create a series link last night (Two and a Half Men) and it took about 5 minutes to complete during which time the box was completely unresponsive. I was close to rebotting it.

It will be the iPad app when its launched. It's how I imagined telly of the future working when I was 5 years old.

Re: What is your favourite thing about Tivo
I think that one of the best features of the Tivo for me is the quietness of it, this Tivo beats everything I have ever had hands down!! in this respect.

Yes when you compare the Tivo to a V+ which was very noisy and could easily awake people at night.

Yes and Sky boxes, and indeed other PVR'S, I've had both and Tivo blows them out of the water on noise level.
You can definitely have one of these in your bedroom without being disturbed by noise.

anywho ,my favourite thing about Tivo (even though i don't have one ,can't have one )is the entertaining threads it generates ,all the bickering about the functions/faults/comming soon makes me titter

Bickering is a bit wide of the mark Martyh as l would call it a reasoned discussion and debate.
