That thread has actually been running for a few months but still raises a smile or 2 now. As far as I am aware, its a technical impossibility due to the new network management thats in place. But never the less, its worth a read for the entertainment value.

It is a non issue and without doubt something that should not even be in the Virginmedia broadband thread, and would have maybe been better placed in another section as it is just someone who is possibly being a bit paranoid as Paul the staff member has already informed him that what he claims is not possible.
