Virgin to give new Superhub out.

An Virgin insider has told me that Virgin Media are to give ''new superhub'' to customers on XL, XXL and 100Meg.

But it will be for new customers or customers upgrading.

1 step closer to upgrading to VIP50.
Other step is Tivo.
Once they are in harmony I will be taking the plunge

Re: Virgin to give new Superhub out.

Will be for anyone upgrading to XL, or for all new installs for XL, XXL and XXXL from this week on, though obviously with weather conditions as they are stock may take a few days to filter down the supply chain.

Re: Virgin to give new Superhub out.

XL getting the superhub too? Not just the ordinary hub? Interesting if true, as the standard hub has only been out a few months and is already being replaced...

It is true, and starts as of today. No word on what the future holds for the existing Hub at this time though seeing as its recently had a firmware update I don't think they plan to get rid of it any time soon.

That KB info needs to be updated really. As stated earlier in the thread, as of today the superhub will be for all new customers on XL, XXL and XXXL, or those upgrading to XL from lower tiers.

The d2 hub is crap anyway, never heard a good thing about it, the new one is annoying me too, it keeps rebooting for some reason, at least 3 times a day

Re: Virgin to give new Superhub out.

Nice. Looks like it's going to become a lot more common than I'd previously thought.

Incidentally it might be about time they started renaming some of these packages... All you can get now is L, XL, XXL and XXXL. Seriously, too many X's and L's.

Actually there's still an "S"(2meg) included in all those X's and L's. I only know that because I asked if there was anything smaller/lower that I could be put on when enquiring about changing my package.
