pay monthly account query

last friday afternoon switched my son over to a pay monthly rolling contract a vm customer offer of £10 a month, the bloke said it would start in 24 hours, after over 24 hours he checked his balance via 789 and all he was told was the amount of megabytes he had left no mention about minutes etc,so went onto my account on the virgin mobile website it says on the "your balance" section he has spent £6+,it then says your credit limit £125,no mention of minutes used or remaining texts etc and finally it says your current tarriff "pay by dd",never been on a monthly contract before so is this how it should be or has`nt the rolling contract started yet or are vm slow at changing things he`s coming off payg.
cheers for any help

Re: pay monthly account query

Normally when you start a contract it takes a few days for the first bill to be produced, so you will have a pro-rata allowance of mins, texts and data allowance ( so when the first bill is produced you will get the full monthly allowance.
The only thing that i can think of in regards to the mins and texts are has your son made any calls and texts from the handset or it could be that the system is taking a while to update ( as sometimes the calls and texts can take up the 48 hours to update ) hope this helps
