Vertical white lines on the main menus and tv guide
I am getting verticle white line on the main menu and tv guide and also subtitles. I have been getting this at least over a year if I remember right!...I have to press reboot on the box and it is ok for so long before it happens again. I have a Scientific Atlanta box.
Is there anyone else has this problem?..And if so did you call and Virgin replace it with a new box?
Re: Vertical white lines on the main menus and tv guide
Aye it sounds like the graphics chip/memory that handles any overlays is dying (i've got a DVD player that has the same issue with subs*), as Masque says give them a ring.
*And I've seen it many times with dying videocards.
