Re: Connecting virgin media v+ to my pc help please

There's two ways of doing it..

1# via an audio/video link (either wired or via a video sender) to the AV/Input on your TV card

2# Via a video/audio streamer (something like a slingbox) to the ethernet/wifi on your PC

You can not though extend the VM cable itself and use a TV/cable card as the channels are encrypted

You can get output from the second SCART, VCR, that sends out what you are watching unless you are copying to DVD. To connect to a PC you would need to use the composite video input. The V+ has no RF out to use with a tuner card AFAIK.

Hope this helps...

Depends what inputs you have available on your TV tuner card?

Then the only way is to get something like this http://www.pulsat.com/products/Mercu...rt-to-RF).html so you can use the Video Scart Output on your box to connect to the RF input on your tv tuner.

Re: Connecting virgin media v+ to my pc help please

you have a tuner .. thats for connecting to an aerial .. in this case you dont need the tuner because the v+ box is being the tuner.

So its just sending the display information afaik and not needing to be 'tuned' to display stuff ... telling ppl what card you have in you pc exact make and model would help in any case

Re: Connecting virgin media v+ to my pc help please

That's digital only, so it won't work.

Your RF modulator is going to be giving an analogue channel, so you'd need an analogue tuner.
