Slow speeds

I used to get 50Mb on my wired connection all the time but recently it's been getting slower. I was getting 30 then 20 and having just run the 50M speedtest from this site my results are:
Test started, please wait .......

Mon, 08 Nov 2010 18:44:38 GMT

Test 1: 2048K took 1133 ms = 1807.6 KB/sec, approx 14461 Kbps, 14.12 Mbps
Test 2: 2048K took 1094 ms = 1872 KB/sec, approx 14976 Kbps, 14.63 Mbps
Test 3: 2048K took 1057 ms = 1937.6 KB/sec, approx 15501 Kbps, 15.14 Mbps
Test 4: 4096K took 2332 ms = 1756.4 KB/sec, approx 14051 Kbps, 13.72 Mbps

Overall Average Speed = approx 14747 Kbps, 14.4 Mbps

Version 1.51 : To repeat this test from the source server click here.

Over the past few weeks it seems to have declined - I have been using Speedtest.net but using the test from here has only confirmed their results.
Any ideas why it's slow?
I'm in Woking BTW.
Thanks

There's the problem, you need a tech out to adjust.
