The whingers of Westminster: Just elected and already MPs are protesting over expenses crackdown

They are complaining they are being 'treated like benefits claimants' under a tough new regime.

Last night an extraordinary campaign was even under way to force out the expenses watchdog.

Will have to convince my boss of the need for petrol expenses because I am not working there to subsidise the job.

There's a simple answer to that Mr Sheridan - find yourself a job which pays you more and leave politics to those who don't share your views or require taxpayer funded 'perks' like plasma TVs.

Personally I think the above comment made by MP's about "being treated like benefit claimants", just about sums up the utter contempt which many MP's hold claimants in...a bloody despicable statement.
