Please please help me
This is beyond a joke. How do I access my e-mail?
Away from home and trying to get to webmail on my ipod touch for last two days but just keep ending up being directed from VM page to a google mail page that won't accept my details. I can not access any of the VM help pages that just time out - no doubt overwhelmed by people like me trying to find out how we access our e-mail now.
Yet again VM show they just don't give a stuff about their customers. Some info BEFORE the change might have been helpful!!

Re: Please please help me
Managed to get in using a colleagues netbook late last night but I just can't get into webmail with my ipod touch. I have got onto the help page that says for mobile browsers to enter a web address but that takes me to the webmail login page. and that then just takes me to a gmail page which won't take my details.
Bizarrely, there is an e-mail from VM saying welcome to our new e-mail system, if you have got this it must be working. How stupid is that. What about all the people that haven't got it for whom it isn't working.
There must be far better ISPs than this out there

Re: Please please help me
Can't you set up the ipod to download mail in the normal sense, instead of going through the webmail service first?

You are not being ignored, this is a known issue and they are working on a fix for IPhones and Android phones to enable them to work with the new email platform in conjunction with Google.
Agents should be aware of this issue.

That suddenly stopped working a few weeks ago. As I still can't get onto vm help pages I can't get at the settings I need. Anyway, tbh, I found webmail just as easy til it went wrong. You would have thought vm would have tested this pre roll out rather than treat it's entire customer base as guinea pigs

It is not pre rollout as we have already migrated the @virgin.net and @blueyonder.co.uk accounts but the appears to be an issue with the @ntlworld.com email accounts on IPones and Android phones, which is being worked on.
